Peter has over 15 years in the global food and beverage industry. Prior to founding AMI, he was an expatriate executive at Nestlé S.A., based in Switzerland. His last position was Vice President, Business Development, with Profit&Loss responsibility for an $80 million beverage manufacturing business. Prior to that he held senior level positions with Nestlé in Europe, Asia and North America with P&L responsibility for businesses exceeding $100 million.
Peter’s leadership on strategic thinking and processes, brand enhancement and international market development add value to AMI clients.
Prior to joining AMI, Alex was the International Marketing Specialist for a U.S. adhesives manufacturing company. He developed and implemented international marketing strategies and distribution policy on a worldwide basis. Focusing on Asia and Latin America, he opened new markets in China, Taiwan, Brazil, Mexico, and Australia. Experienced in brand communication, market research, strategic planning and business development, Mr. Lindsay approached distributors/importers and finalized contracts in the various industries.
Alex is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has a working knowledge of Spanish. He has trained hundreds of American and foreign business executives in sales development, market analysis techniques, team-building, and language skills.
Autumn Best joined AMI as Marketing Manager and Public Relations contact in October 2009.
Prior to joining AMI, she was National Sales Coordinator and Hospitality Specialist for Washington State’s largest privately owned wine company, Precept Wine Brands. Tasked to work with a special portfolio of wine brands, she helped these brands gain sustainable distribution on a national level and assisted in the rebuilding and re-branding of multiple “top value” wine brands. Additionally, she set up and initiated the company’s first hospitality program where she planned trips for clients and partners to visit Washington wine country from start to finish. Other tasks included managing Precept’s friends and family wine club, fulfilling donations, setting up sponsorship opportunities, and planning events.
With years of condensed experience in marketing, sales, and consumer public relations and an energetic, results-driven attitude, Autumn brings innovative and devoted marketing and sales campaigns to AMI and to her clients.
Autumn holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Puget Sound and spent some time living and studying in Vienna, Austria. While there, she managed to visit most Eastern European countries and also bounced around Western Europe a little bit. She has a working understanding of German and Spanish.
Separate from her devotion to her work, Autumn enjoys a very healthy and active personal life with a passion for any and all outdoor activities. Among her favorites: Hiking the Pacific Northwest’s Cascade and Olympic Mountains, kayaking, running, soaking up the sun on exotic tropical beaches, snowboarding, traveling the world and interacting with people from all walks of life.
Michael joined ATHENA MARKETING INTERNATIONAL (AMI) as Marketing Associate in May 2008 after completing his four month internship with AMI.
Before AMI, Michael worked for Frontier Bank in Account Services where he performed a variety of financial and support tasks. He helped successfully transition the bank from the paper processing of inclearings to digital processing. Michael has also worked with QFC grocery store (Kroger Co.) and Nordstrom’s department store. His professional experience has provided him with a strong foundation for the quality customer service he brings to AMI.
Michael graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing. He is dedicated to using and developing his knowledge of international business. His strong educational background provides him with the framework of business knowledge for the marketing skills he utilizes at AMI.
Michael has a strong interest in creating positive relationships through communication, respect and understanding. He is passionate about traveling and learning about foreign cultures, lifestyles and people. He enjoys a variety of food and beverage from around the world.
Michael utilizes his experience, education and interests to help expand international sales and distribution for AMI’s food and beverage manufacturing clients.
