Ellie Flores Sales Development Representative

Ellie Flores is an International Sales Development Representative at Athena Marketing International (AMI). The company is a leading marketing, export sales management and business development company serving the global food, beverage, and nutrition and consumer products industries. Since 2004 the thriving company has assisted over 100 category-leading brands enter high-growth foreign markets.

Prior being part of the AMI team, Ellie has had experience working with food and beverage manufacturing companies as an Export Officer, managing and overseeing day-to-day operations and processes. She managed Purchase Orders from domestic and overseas buyers through the delivery of the cargo to buyers, including the processing of required export certificates and shipping documents. Her first work experience as an Export Officer is in W.L. Food Products, a U.S.-based manufacturing company of savory snack foods and beverages. After 4 years, she left W.L. Food Products and became a Jr. Buyer at JIA2 Corporation, a distributor and importer of food and beverage grocery items. There she harnessed her skills in negotiation of prices to meet the required landed cost of the product for the sales channels in which the products were intended – HORECA/Food Industry, Retail Supermarkets, Online E-commerce platforms and independent retailers. Ellie then worked as an Export Representative at Markenburg International Foods Corp., a manufacturing company producing Marshmallows, where she was able to gain additional and in-depth knowledge about the food industry and import/export procedures, documentation and financial payments and credit terms.

Ellie also had the privilege to work as a Sales Executive at an NVOCC freight forwarding company, which offered end-to-end business solutions for import, export, and domestic requirements of food and beverage manufacturers.

Ellie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Management from Bulacan State University in the Philippines. She hopes to receive her MBA degree after supporting her younger sister through university.

During her free time, Ellie is fond of playing online games and frolicking with her three dogs. She also enjoys resting with her family and fiancé.
